Just a short one today. I am wondering how many of you think that what is written by people on their facebook page is actually what they think and is a true picture of the opinions and views of that person and how many of you think they are just going along with what others are posting. Also, how many of you think that what people write on their facebook page would be the same thing as what they would say to someone face to face.

I think some people post to feel a part of something/some group. While others post what they believe. The thing is, when some people post things, you may not really know that “part” of them. So it seems some posts are so far fetched, but that’s probably what they really think. It’s hard to tell these days. There are a lot of fake people, and some trying to impress others. As far as saying things to peoples faces, I think some would. But it is easier to trash talk and bad mouth behind the comfort of a computer screen. Computer Courage!
I know for me, I post what I think. Sometimes to a fault, but I think I am pretty honest on there. I hold a lot back, which is usually the best policy for me. It is your “personal” page but at the same time you are sharing your views, which leaves one open to criticism and backlash. You can’t please everyone on FB, nor yourself. So, limiting yourself is usually best, as sad as it is…you can’t be yourself with everyone. Because FB is what it is…a social networking site.
Hope all is well!
